Sorry for Zazzle!spamming. I'm just pleased with this creature.

The other day, I posted a monster that I meant to be the embodiment of frustration and rage. And then, I decided to do a monster for several moods. "Grah's" oppoisite, I figure is Squee. I doodled out this monster yesterday, and then, I realized it could also be the embodiment of caffination. So onto a mug it went:

I particuarly like the offset repeat. Squeegle's monopod, viewd in only lower context, reminds me of the dramatic rope to open the curtain.

Heh. My inspiration was actually the zoetrope, I had an inexpensive toy version as a kid (don't remember where I got it -- a museum gift shop, maybe?). The one I had was much lighter weight than the ones in the Wikipedia article, and meant to be held in one hand, and spun 'round by the other while you looked through the slits.

It was the best way I could figure to show its bounciness with a static picture.

...That zoetrope article took some doing to find, btw, as I never actually knew the official name for my plaything... until just now.

I'm trying to come up with a balance of ideas, so that sooner or later it gets the same sense of a coherent whole to those outside my mind as it does to me from the inside...

Towhit: to live with a disability means to live with creativity, 'cause you're always going to have to find unusual ways to get around the intentional and unintentional barriers. So plot bunnies right next to dragons in wheelchairs makes sense.
