Good Green Apples! took me forever to get motivated for na'arting, today... Couldn't settle on what I was in the mood for drawing... after trying about four different ideas, finally decided to draw a "Seriously rendered" but "Cartoon" creature:

Question: would you wear a shirt with this figure on it? With a slogan/motto? Without one?

It would look (well, in my possibly laggard and inexpert view) very fashionable printed very big to fill the entire front of a loose-fitting pale-coloured shirt. I envision someone wearing it with denim capri pants and lots of wooden beads or something. Of course I wouldn't wear it like that... for myself I'd probably want it to be a bit smaller and have a heavy border around the image like a frame.

Date: 2012-08-29 08:13 pm (UTC)As for his monstrousness, I'm more suspicious of his horns, since, evolutionarily speaking, birds are cousins to T Rex. But really, it's a pet peeve of mine (About kiddie lit, in particular) when monsters are defined as being "nice" or "mean" on if they have sharp teeth or not... it's not whether you have teeth (horns, sharp claws, poisonous spines, etc.), it's how and when you choose to use them.
(Which is one reason I love Frazzle, from old-time Sesame Street [YouTube])
